There’s definitely a quickening of life at the moment would you agree. whenever I ask people how they’ve been, the standard reply is ‘Oh I’ve been soooo busy!’
We seem to be caught up in this constant treadmill of ‘busyness’ bouncing from one task to the next ….. being constantly ‘on’, flicking through our phones, just in case we missed anything on our FB feed, Instagram, emails, twitter feed …… you name it. In all of this ‘busyness’ we’re forgetting the beautiful present moment, where we are right now, our environment, the people we’re sharing it with etc.
Now take a deep breath, pause for a moment and using all of your senses …. What do you see, hear, smell, touch and feel? Deep breathing from your belly, is a power way to bring you back into your body and become ‘present’ again, remembering to BE. After all we are all human BE-ings not human DO-ers.
During your day, remember to tune in with yourself, BREATH, become aware of your surroundings and fully experience the present moment, and be grateful for the gift of life that you have right now.
